Pyrgi

Pyrgi, name of a town located on the island of Chios, in the Aegean Sea.

Its particularity is to offer colorful facades. They are plastered with lime and then hollowed out to obtain geometric patterns.

This exceptional decoration changes the perception of the volume of the building, and even that of the public space. The eye is confused.

The Pyrgi collection is a work around geometry, weft, relief, which constantly works the eye from the foreground to the second and vice versa.
